What is SmartGrass™?SmartGrass™ is a revolutionary synthetic lawn that looks and feels like real Tall Fescue grass. It is suitable for residential and commercial use. What is SmartGrass™ made from?SmartGrass™ is made from intense ultra-violet protected, soft polyethylene multi-fibre that has been "spring-set" to prevent the fibres from matting together. The fibres are strong, smooth, soft and forgiving. They will stand up naturally, but will benefit from some sand or rubber infill to increase the stability of the fibre at the root. This infill will also provide weight to prevent the turf from shifting. Where is SmartGrass™ used?SmartGrass™ can be used in any weather and any climate. SmartGrass™ has been installed Australia wide, from hot Queensland climates to cooler southern climates. It will not be damaged by normal sun, wind, rain, snow or ice.
What styles of SmartGrass™ are available?There are three SmartGrass™ products to choose from depending on your application.
What size and shape can be installed?Almost any size and shape can be covered with SmartGrass™. The standard roll width is 3.7m and the roll lengths come in 10m increments up to 40m per roll.
